Purify, An Urban Sweat Lodge Wins Best Spa by Sarasota Magazine
Sarasota, Fla. – June 8, 2020 – Purify, An Urban Sweat Lodge won Best of 2020 Spa Services by Sarasota Magazine. The annual awards seek on-line votes from local residents. Winners were announced in the June issue of Sarasota Magazine.
Samantha Albano, the proprietor, created the concept of Purify in early 2018 and opened her storefront on S. Pineapple Avenue on August 28, 2018. From design and layout to interior color and décor, Albano had the vision for Purify. Its sleek, shabby chic interior is welcoming as is her personality. With the help of her business partner (and mother), Sandy Albano, the team has excelled in building their clientele and providing excellent spa services in addition to their body wraps.
Clients consist of national and local residents. “Detoxing at Purify is an incredible way to relax after a stressful day as it draws out the impurities, eases my aching muscles after my workouts, and quiets my mind,” said longtime client Dana Brown. “I consider my visits to Purify the best days of my week.”

Albano is an Out-of-Door Academy graduate, class of 2013, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in marketing and a minor in theatre from Merrimack College in N. Andover, MA. She also played for Merrimack College’s Woman’s Division II NCAA volleyball team.
